Bueno, aunque técnicamente este disco no es tan nuevo, si es de este año. Lo habia querido postear aqui desde hace un tiempo, solo que no habia tenido el momento para hacerlo.
Pues bien, los Noisettes es un trio de por allá en el Reino Unido que continua con la onda esta del garage rock revival, pero bueno, la verdad es que el nombre no aporta mucho y sería muy fácil pasar de esta banda. Sin embargo, añaden un toque personal al movimiento revival que no se ha visto mucho en la escena. Cuando la mayoría de las bandas tocando revival buscan hacia la década de los 80's para inspiración, los Noisettes se van hasta los 50's y 60's al reinado de Motown para buscar sus musas. Su potente vocalista Shingai Shoniwa, llega a melodizar como digna representante Aretha Franklin y en cuestión de segundos lanza aullidos que harían a Karen O' correr aterrorizada y morir de envidia.
Si bien, la comparación con los Yeah Yeah Yeahs y su vocalista puede ser inevitable, los Noisettes claramente quieren hacer su propio camino y nicho en la escena de rock internacional y en éste su debut lo podemos ver claramente.
Le voy a dar 3 cabecitas de "chubaca" porque creo que a pesar de que tiene tracks solidos, no es un disco que te puedas poner a escucharlo de corrido y repetirlo. Sin embargo es un debut solido y me deja con ganas de que su carrera sea solida también.
